We are SOVODEG, we champion community-driven initiatives that are environmentally responsible, socially inclusive, and economically sustainable. Our vision is of a future where ecosystems are protected, equal opportunities are accessible to all, and communities are equipped to thrive. We believe that lasting solutions come from within the communities themselves.
Working hand-in-hand with the people of Southern Volta, we strive to overcome challenges and unlock local potential. Our activities span the Districts and Municipalities on the map to the left.
We remain steadfast in our mission to promote sustainable development and uplift livelihoods throughout this vital region.
Vision
To attain a healthy, resilient and sustainable environment with natural resources well protected, sustainably managed and economic opportunities equitable and just in the coastal, riparian and savannah communities of the southern Volta.
MIssion
To conserve and protect southern Volta coastal, riparian and savannah ecosystems, promote sustainable livelihoods and support community led initiatives that enhance the wellbeing of southern Volta of Ghana.
