The Southern Volta region faces increasing threats from climate change and natural hazards like floods and coastal erosion. We will work with communities to understand risks, prepare for potential disasters, and build resilience. Our approach includes early warning systems, climate-smart livelihoods, infrastructure strengthening, and ecosystem protection. By empowering communities and advocating for effective policies, we aim to safeguard lives, livelihoods, and the sustainable development of Southern Volta. Collaboration with local governments, NGOs, and international partners will be key to implementing these initiatives effectively. We plan to conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance community awareness and preparedness. These activities will focus not only on immediate response strategies but also on long-term adaptation measures to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
